Today, Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) named Bonnie Lai as General Manager of Lumere, effective May 1. She will focus on supporting GHX’s aim to advance healthcare’s adoption of a clinically integrated supply chain in service to a more effective, resilient healthcare ecosystem.
Bonnie previously served as Lumere's Vice President of Product and Operations, where she co-led efforts to bring together the capabilities of Lumere and GHX to provide health systems with the tools they need to thrive in a value-based care environment. In this role, she oversaw product innovation, implementation, customer support and advisory services.
Bonnie has played an important role in Lumere's growth and evolution as a GHX company. She has shepherded important initiatives such as expanding Lumere’s analytics coverage to include a growing list of med/surg products and device cost per case at the physician level, facilitating Cloud ERP implementation success and launching new consulting services. These initiatives will ultimately help organizations better realize savings in PPI categories, improve speed and quality of decision-making and gain valuable insights into patient outcomes.
Prior to joining Lumere in 2016, she was a healthcare consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Bonnie completed her PhD in biomedical engineering at Duke University, where she was also a National Science Fellow.
