Three Canadian organizations were recognized today for supply chain excellence at the Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC (GHX) Supply Chain Summit conference in Austin, Texas. Canadian GHXcellence Award winners included TransForm Shared Service Organization (Chatham Ont.), Medtronic of Canada (Brampton, Ont.), and Health Sciences North (Sudbury, Ont.). In addition, TransForm is the first company to win both the Canadian Provider of the Year and the GHX Canadian Operational Excellence Award.
The GHXcellence Awards have been given to provider and supplier organizations for the past 16 years, recognizing the leaders and visionaries that are leveraging supply chain automation to remove waste, cut costs and improve patient care. GHX selected the winners based on quantifiable performance metrics around success in automating business processes, including increases in automated order management and decreases in exceptions. This year’s winners from Canada include:
