In its latest software release, GHX has developed new and innovative tools that add tremendous value to clinical and supply chain users from dock-to-doc™. Version 4.6 includes extensive upgrades such as a more modern and intuitive user interface and new capabilities that automate and streamline supply-related workflows.
Here are some of the key highlights of version 4.6.
The updated mobile app offers a sleek, new user interface for point-of-use workflows including Putaway, Cycle Count, Case Pick and Case Return. Uncluttered screens and task simplification reduces unnecessary steps and clicks, creating a more efficient workforce and better user experience.
GHX Inventory Management now supports Azure Active Directory Single Sign-On (SSO) for mobile applications, the Supply Capture desktop application and Admin Portal. This saves the user time from multiple system logins, brings up the user's last session and opens systems for improved workflow.
GHX also recently announced support for Imprivata Single Sign-On. Read the press release.
With enhanced Oracle Cloud ERP integration, we can better support hospitals that leverage third-party auto-pick solutions.
Version 4.6 offers several new label printing methods and palletization enhancements that make label printing easy and faster package processing and improved tracking.
Version 4.6 makes it easier than ever to return or reassign supplies from cancelled patient procedures. This means more control in processing returned items, less re-picking and less waste.
New chronologically ordered case pick paths (i.e., "Zones") create more streamlined, organized and optimized case picking workflows. This reduces time spent picking items as supply techs can quickly navigate from one location to the next.
Further, when primary supply items are unavailable during case picking, the version 4.6 mobile app displays preapproved alternatives and ad-hoc scanning of alternate supplies so case picking can continue without delay.
