GHX Honors Inaugural Award Winners of its New Millennium Club for Healthcare Organizations with Very High Levels of Supply Chain Automation

The Millennium Club Recognizes 30 Provider and Supplier Organizations that Generate More Than 1 Million Automated Transactions Annually Through the GHX Exchange
Louisville, CO — Wednesday, April 20, 2016

Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC (GHX) announced the inaugural members in its new GHX Millennium Club of healthcare provider and supplier organizations that have achieved the highest levels of automation on the GHX Exchange, and are therefore improving the cost quality equation in the healthcare industry. The members will be recognized at an Awards Banquet Luncheon during the 2016 GHX Healthcare Supply Chain Summit, May 23-25, 2016, in Austin, Texas.

GHX created the new Millennium Club to recognize healthcare provider and supplier organizations that generate over 1 million automated transactions (including advanced order sets, among others) annually through the GHX Exchange. To select the 2015 Millennium Club organizations, GHX looked at the supply chain automation levels of more than 1,500 hospitals and suppliers in the U.S. and Canada currently connected to the GHX electronic trading exchange. GHX identified the 14 provider organizations and 16 supplier organizations that scored highest in a range of automation categories during the 2015 calendar year.

“This is a great honor for only an elite few organizations and we are pleased to be able to give them recognition for the work they are doing. They are moving and shaping the healthcare market through their commitment to supply chain automation and the breadth of transaction types they are including,” said Bruce Johnson, President & CEO, GHX. “By automating the healthcare supply chain to this degree, these organizations and their supply chain teams are driving efficiencies, accuracy, and visibility for not only their own organizations, but for trading partners and for the healthcare industry.”
